We're currently on week 5 of the Spring One Room Challenge!

Our main focus this week is on painting the walls of the room. In case you missed it, TBI is in the process of transforming a girl's bedroom into a more spacious and colorful area within 8 weeks. You can take a look at our previous posts by clicking on the links below to see what we've done so far and what we have planned for the remaining 3 weeks:
Last week, we wallpapered two of the bedroom walls. This turned out to be a great decision as it helped us select the ideal paint color to complement the wallpaper and the natural light that filters through the room. After much consideration, we settled on Sherwin Williams' Sunset, which infuses the room with a warm and inviting hue.
However, after we finished painting the walls, the white doors in the room felt like a stark contrast and didn't blend well with the overall ambiance. After some brainstorming and consideration, we decided to paint the doors and trim with Sherwin Williams' Youthful Coral, a beautiful peachy pink that perfectly complements the wall color. The result was a harmonious blend of colors that brought the space to life.
One of our favorite aspects of this project was adding the unique floral-like design that extends beyond the door trim. This fun little detail added more character to the space and made the room feel more personalized and unique.

We'd love to hear your thoughts about the paint colors and door details, and we encourage you to check out our Instagram for more updates.
Be sure to check back next week to see how we transform the furniture!
